The Evo IX, the final iteration adored by enthusiasts before the lackluster X came along, is one of the more desirable Evo models, particularly in MR spec like this one.
Driving all four wheels is Mitsubishi’s famed 4G63 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 286 HP and 289 lb-ft (391 Nm) of torque, which make the car still feel very brisk even by today’s standards.
Very few modifications have been made to the car, which is something rare for an Evo. Indeed, the only changes mentioned by the seller are AMS stainless steel brake lines, Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec tires and an air-dam extension. We have a suspicion that the Apex Silver Metallic paintwork will make the car all the more appealing to those in the market for an Evo.
