If you’re in the market for a car that’s sure to turn heads, you’ve just found it. This Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X features a LONG list of modifications intended to improve performance and appearance, including an aftermarket turbocharger kit, an adjustable air suspension system, and Ultraviolet paint from the Porsche palette. This car also boasts a clean, accident-free Carfax report that exclusively lists registrations in California, which is a nice benefit – and, like every Evolution X, it’s all-wheel drive for better traction in cold climates.
Highlights
THIS… is a 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR, finished in Ultraviolet with a black interior.
- This sedan is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission.
- The attached Carfax history report lists no accidents in this Mitsubishi’s past. It also shows that this Lancer has been California-owned since new.
- Modifications reported by the seller include Manley Performance Products 4B11 Turbo Tuff connecting rods, Arias forged pistons, an Extreme Turbo Systems T3 turbocharger kit, Injector Dynamics ID1000 fuel injectors, a Tomei exhaust system, an Air Lift Company 3H air suspension system, a Rotora big-brake kit, a Varis V2 wide-body kit, a SEIBON carbon fiber trunk lid, a Studio RSR bolt-in half roll cage, and a Vertex x NightRunner quick-release steering wheel. Some of the removed factory parts are included in the sale.
- Mitsubishi’s 10th and final Lancer Evolution arrived for 2008. It gained a new, more powerful engine, a revised suspension system, and a design inspired by sharks and fighter jets, according to the company. MR denoted an automatic transmission; stick-shifted variants were called GSR. Mitsubishi canceled the Lancer Evolution in 2016, and it all but confirmed the model will not return in the foreseeable future.
- Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, rated at 291 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications likely increase those figures but a dyno sheet is not available. The engine spins the four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
