The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is quick and fun to drive even when left stock ā and this example should offer considerably better performance, as it’s been extensively modified; it makes a dyno-verified 681 horsepower, which is more than twice the stock output! It looks like a tremendous amount of resources went into this build, and notable upgrades include Darton cylinder sleeves, Wiseco pistons, a Garrett Motion turbocharger kit, Fuel Injector Clinic fuel injectors, and Fortune Auto coilovers. The clean, accident-free Carfax report is another big benefit here that adds to the appeal.
Highlights
THIS… is a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X SE, finished in Phantom Black with a black exterior wrap and a black interior.
- The attached Carfax history report lists no accidents in this Mitsubishi’s past.
- Extensively modified, this Lancer is fitted with Darton Sleeves cylinder sleeves, Wiseco pistons, GSC Power Division parts in the valvetrain, a Garrett Motion GTX3582R Gen II turbocharger kit, Fuel Injector Clinic 2,150-cc fuel injectors, Fortune Auto 500-Series coilovers, Chargespeed D1-style wheel arch flares, CUSCO x BRIDE VIOS III front seats, a Works Bell Rapfix quick-release steering wheel hub, and a Sony XNV-600BT touchscreen, among other aftermarket parts reported by the seller.
- Mitsubishi’s 10th and final Lancer Evolution arrived for 2008. It gained a new, more powerful engine, a revised suspension system, and a design inspired by sharks and fighter jets, according to the company. MR denoted an automatic transmission; stick-shifted variants were called GSR. Mitsubishi canceled the Lancer Evolution in 2016, and it all but confirmed the model will not return in the foreseeable future.
- Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, rated at 291 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications increase those figures to about 681 and 457, respectively, at the wheels, according to a dyno sheet pictured in the gallery. The engine spins the four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
