It’s a shame that the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is no longer in production, as it’s a serious performance sedan with a powerful turbocharged 4-cylinder paired with a clever all-wheel drive system. This particular Lancer Evolution X touts a 5-speed manual transmission and a gorgeous Rally Red exterior – in addition to some nice factory equipment like the Sight & Sound Package, 18-inch Enkei wheels, and Brembo brakes. It also boasts an impressive list of performance modifications including an Exigent Solutions Stage 2 cylinder head, GSC Power-Division S2 camshafts, and an AGT 62mm turbocharger, which combine to boost its output to over 500 horsepower at the wheels. To top it off, this Evo X comes with dry-climate Arizona ownership since new, further enhancing its appeal.

Mitsubishi’s 10th and final Lancer Evolution arrived for 2008. It gained a new, more powerful engine, a revised suspension system, and a design inspired by sharks and fighter jets, according to the company. MR denoted an automatic transmission, while stick-shifted variants were called GSR. Mitsubishi canceled the Lancer Evolution in 2016, and it all but confirmed the model will not return in the foreseeable future.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4, rated at 291 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque in stock form. According to the dyno sheet pictured in the gallery, this Lancer Evolution now produces 518 horsepower and 378 lb-ft of torque as a result of its modifications. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
